Overview
Managing pupils and dealing with misbehaviour can be a challenge even for very experienced teachers. For cover supervisors and support staff, who many pupils do not think of as ‘real’ teachers, the challenge is even greater. This highly regarded course has been exceptionally well received by cover supervisors and teaching assistants throughout the country. The course examines behaviour issues from their unique perspective and focuses on positive strategies which can help them to be more confident and effective when dealing with challenging behaviour. The Presenter - Iain Wood
Iain Wood is a very experienced and highly regarded trainer who has lead over 500 training events in schools and at conference venues throughout the country. With 18 years teaching experience, mostly in inner city schools, he knows the real challenge some pupils can present. Following the success of his course for teachers ‘I hate this lesson!’, Iain developed this course specifically for cover supervisors and support staff. His accreditations include teacher assessor, performance management consultant, Ofsted inspector and Fast-track assessor.
How To Reserve A Place
Either book online or print out, complete and return (preferably by fax) a booking form. Confirmation of your booking will be emailed or faxed to you usually within two days.
